About this quiz

Each round draws ten sets and asks for the pattern using the two-step read: a FEV₁/FVC below 0.70 means obstruction, and a TLC below 80% predicted means restriction — both is mixed, neither is normal. Real interpretation then adds the lower limit of normal, DLCO, bronchodilator response, and severity grading by FEV₁ % predicted.

Educational use only. Practice sets are generated for exam preparation and use the fixed 0.70 and 80%-predicted cutoffs; clinical interpretation also weighs the lower limit of normal and the full diffusion and volume study. This material supports respiratory therapy education and exam review. It is not medical advice and is not a substitute for clinical judgment, institutional protocols, or physician orders. Always follow facility policies and current provider orders, and verify calculations independently before clinical use.
